The City of Dreams: the vision behind every one of our projects

Behind every RWA project lies one shared vision: the City of Dreams, an ambitious approach to urban development that pays tribute to nature. Discover what guides us, from Lomé to Ouagadougou.

The City of Dreams: the vision behind every one of our projects

There is one question we are asked often: why the "City of Dreams"?

The answer rests on a single conviction. We believe that West Africa should not settle for closing a real estate gap. It can, and it must, build cities that people genuinely want to live in. Places that are chosen, not endured.

That conviction guides every Reliance West Africa project.

Building pieces of the city, not isolated buildings

Look at our projects and you will see a common thread: we never place a single building in the middle of nowhere.

East Lake Park and West Lake Park in Lomé are conceived as complete neighbourhoods. Ocean Eyes brings together homes, a hospital and a leisure park: you live there, you receive care there, you enjoy yourself there. Within East Lake Park, Sika Resort offers quality apartments for every stage of life, while ZENIA Villas presents contemporary high-end villas. And in Ouagadougou, ZAFARA PLAZZA brings together a signature 20-storey tower housing a 5-star hotel, business spaces and homes.

Reliance West Africa projects in Lomé and Ouagadougou.

Six destinations across four major programmes, two countries, one shared idea: a successful place to live is a place where the essentials are within reach.

"A tribute to nature": more than a slogan, a method

Our signature accompanies each of our projects: the City of Dreams pays tribute to nature.

In practice, this means that nature is not what is left over once the buildings are in place. It is integrated from the very first drawings: structuring green spaces, respect for the sites, landscape integration considered upfront, for every project.

Nature integrated into the architecture, the signature of RWA projects
Green roofs, planted patios and shared spaces: nature is designed together with the built environment, not added afterwards.

We build for decades. A project that damages its environment is a project that erodes its own value. Environmental standards are not a constraint imposed upon us: they are a component of the value we create.

From Lomé to Ouagadougou: a pan-African ambition

RWA was founded with a purpose that reaches beyond a single city or country. After Togo, Burkina Faso: our ZAFARA PLAZZA project is being developed there in partnership with SONATUR, the Société Nationale d'Aménagement des Terrains Urbains, a Burkinabè state-owned company.

This expansion is not a dispersion of effort. It is the same vision, carried with the same standards, adapted to each territory. What we learn in Lomé serves Ouagadougou, and vice versa. Our institutional partners follow us from one country to the next because our way of working does not change: thorough studies, disciplined contracts, quality in execution.

What this means for you

Buying with RWA is not simply buying square metres within a project. It is joining an overarching vision carried by a developer that thinks long term.

Your Sika Resort apartment is worth more because it sits within a carefully designed neighbourhood. Your investment in ZAFARA PLAZZA is more robust because it rests on an institutional partnership. Your ZENIA villa has more character because it carries a deliberate architectural signature.

The City of Dreams is not a distant destination. It is being built now, project after project.
